Genovese was most recently the President of The Country Network, a new country music video network currently airing in 33 million homes. Genovese oversaw the production, marketing/promotion/branding, creative services, and programming for the network. She was instrumental in obtaining licenses for all programming content, and also in the negotiations and execution of TCN’s distribution agreement with Sinclair Broadcasting.

She lead the development and launch of the CMA Marketing/Sponsorship and Licensing programs for all the CMA properties. In just under 5 years, Genovese’s team grew the sponsorship program from a zero base budget to over $5 million annually, building long-term corporate relationships with such brands as Chevrolet, Dr. Pepper, Coca-Cola, Prilosec, as well as many local and regional partners.

Genovese is originally from Corinth, MS, and received her bachelor’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville and her MBA from the University of Phoenix graduate program. In 2007, she was named on Nashville’s Forward 50 List, and in June 2009, the Canadian County Music Association presented Genovese with one of its most prestigious honors, the Leonard T. Rambeau International Award. Her additional recognitions and honors include Billboard’s Top Women in Music 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, representing the 20 most influential female executives in the entertainment industry.
